A unique approach :

Horse Assisted Coaching

On hand exercises with the horses, with the whole team. Your team will work with the horses in a variety of challenges that require collaboration, cooperation, courage and creativity. Horses mirror what is happening within the team. As the team works to move a herd of horses towards a common goal or direction, valuable insights come up on how the team operates today and how to take their functioning to a higher level. The horses response offers immediate and unbiased feedback about team effectiveness. We deliver powerful action-oriented learning experiences. The immediacy of this experiential and emotional learning will help the team members to quickly internalize new insights and skills.

• Understanding of the team dynamics
• Deepening organizational loyalty and a sense of belonging: by working together to achieve the results they want with the horses, team members experience what it means to hold a shared vision from an individual perspective and to be committed to a shared purpose
• Strengthening the cohesion and competency of the team, by facing unfamiliar situations and tough decisions in working with the horses
• Revitalizing and creating fun in your work, by spending time in a natural environment and enjoying some “horse-play”

In the interactions with the horses, your teammembers live the experience and live the emotions . In learning, experiencing and feeling are indispensable. There is more and more evidence that learning first happens through emotion. In the interactions with the horses emotions will come up and are used as valuable information. They are a reflection of what happens in the work place. That is why our programs have such powerful and lasting results.

No horse experience necessary, no riding involved, all exercises happen on the ground.

Included are lunch, snacks and drinks during the day.

Before this teambuilding takes place, we have a meeting in which we discuss the specifics: how is the situation now, what does this particular team need to make progress, what are the goals for this teambuilding day, etc..? This meeting can happen in person or via telephone or skype, depending on what suits best.

We make videos of all the interactions with the horses (of course for your use only). This allows the participants to review everything from a different perspective. As a spectator, you often discover surprising insights. On demand, we can make a compilation video of the training. A beautiful reminder of this unique program.
